TOUR FARE
Tour price is quoted in U.S. dollars based on rates of exchange in effect on January 1, 2017 and is subject to change without notice. Tour price is per person double-occupancy.
RESERVATION, DEPOSIT, AND FINAL PAYMENT
All Programs: $500 per person
Deposits are due within 14 days of reservation date. Full payment must be received 50 days prior to the departure date. Otherwise, your reservation will be canceled automatically.
FORM OF PAYMENT
Tour payment can be check or American Express, Visa and Master cards. Credit card payment requires completion of an authorization form provided by PPT.
CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be received by PPT in writing or by email. Penalties shall apply for cancellations received at:
- 50 days before departure: $200 per person**
- 30 – 49 days before departure: $300 per person**
- 8 – 29 days before departure: $500 per person**
- 1 – 7 days before departure: 50% of tour fare
- On or after departure date: 100% of tour fare
**Except for bookings of Yangtze River Cruise programs. An additional cruise penalty of $500 will be added to the specified penalty charges within 8 – 50 days before departure.
CHANGE FEE, AND REFUND
A change fee of $100 is required for any changes within 30 days of tour commencement. Any unused portions of the land arrangements, hotel accommodations or other services and features of the tour are not refundable nor exchangeable. All other refund claims should be made through the booking agents, if any, from whom the tour has been purchased within 14 days after termination of the tour. Air ticket refund claims are subject to airlines fare rules.
LAND ARRANGEMENTS
Tour price is guaranteed upon receipt of full payment. Tour price is based on per person sharing a twin-bedded room. Single supplement charge is required for single room occupancy.
ON-TOUR AIR TRANSPORTATION
On-tour air transportation is in economy class and is included per specified itinerary. Tour price adjustments will be made if the entire or partial portion is not required.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Specified hotel accommodation at each city is subject to change due to availability at time of tour reservation. PPT reserves the right to change hotels in the same category when necessary. Rooms are standard run-of-the-house basis.
YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE
Yangtze River cruise is by standard cabins aboard specified cruise lines. In the event that an assigned cruise boat is not available due to reasons beyond PPI’s control, PPI reserves the right to substitute with any other available boats. Yangtze cruise itineraries, length of cruise and shore excursions stated in the brochure programs are subject to change due to the water level and navigation conditions.
DOCUMENTATION
Tour participants are responsible their own travel documentation. A passport with minimum 6 months validity is required of all nationals. Visas are required for China and some Indochina countries. Nationals of countries other than the USA should check directly with consulates of countries they are visiting for advice on visa requirements.
BAGGAGE
Please check directly with the appropriate carrier for baggage allowance. All programs involve travel in Japan limits to 1 suitcase plus carry-on per passenger.
SIGHTSEEING, TRANSFERS, AND TIPS
All sightseeing and transfers (except in Japan and Hong Kong) are private with guide and driver. For Japan and Hong Kong, scheduled seat-in-coach join-in sightseeing and transfer services will be used. Tips to local guides and drivers are not included and are expected.
RESPONSIBILITY
Pacific Protour & Travel LLC (PPT) gives notice that air tickets and coupons issued, arrangements for transport or conveyance or accommodations are made as agents upon the express condition that they shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect in any vehicle, or through the act or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger, or in carrying out the arrangements of the tours, or otherwise in connection therewith, or of any hotel proprietor or services, sickness, weather quarantine, strikes, force majeure, other causes or acts of God. All tour itineraries and prices may be affected by alterations in steamship, air, and railroad services of the various countries. PPT reserves the right to withdraw a tour announced in this program, substitute hotels, and make alterations to the itineraries as deemed necessary to ensure smooth operation of the tours. PPT reserves the right to decline acceptance of any person as a member of any tour at any time if necessary. The airlines concerned are not held responsible for any act, omission, or event or event during the time the passengers are not onboard their planes or conveyance. The contract in use by the airline and the passenger shall constitute as the sole contract. Any other transportation, travel companies used shall have no responsibility or liability to any traveler aside from their liability as common carriers.
